Bendicrop 85 Hydraulic Ironworker

The Geka Bendicrop 85 is the Bendicrop Series model that offers the most punching power (93 US tons). Metal fabricators and construction companies will find the machine useful in performing simple bending operations.

It includes two hydraulic cylinders, allowing it to be used by two operators at once, and a built-in bending station with a capacity of up to 8″ x ½», making it unique in the market. Other stations include shearing, punching, and notching stations.

The Bendicrop 85 comes in two versions with different throat depths: an S version with a standard throat 12″ deep and an SD version with an extended throat depth of 20″.

The machine includes six workstations that perform different ironworking tasks:

  • Punching station
  • Flat bar shearing station
  • Built-in bending station
  • Triangular notching station
  • Angle cutting station
  • Round and square bar shearing station

Fitted with an Anti-Torsion System to reduce deformation when shearing flat bars.
Bendicrop 85 model is fitted with a touch and cut length stop and is delivered with two V-shaped Bending Dies of 2” and 3.5”.
2 Punching Throat versions available:
S Version: 12” Standard Throat.
SD Version: 20” Extended Throat.

Main Features in the Geka Bendicrop Series

A goose neck die-holder fitted in the machine’s punching station allows to punch profile sections on legs and webs. Punches and dies are easily replaced and the die holder may also be adjusted to align tools. The punching table includes scales.

Angles and round and square bars are sheared precisely without losing any material.
The shearing system for flat bars and plates creates a minimal amount of deformation of material. It includes a very sturdy table marked out with degrees, allowing operators to set up non-square cuts easily. The station also features two material guides.

The machine can perform triangular notching operations and features a gauge table with scales for this task. The notching station may also perform pipe and tube notching, rectangular notching, punching (as a secondary punching station) or the notching of special shapes.
The built-in bending station complies with all the CE standards. It has a moving speed of 3/8″ per second and a foot pedal that stops movement when pushed too hard. The lower die in the bending station is held in a pocket and may be easily removed. It has standard die V openings of 2″ and 3 3/8″. Micrometer fine adjustment of the depth of stroke is possible to improve repeatability.
