The ALFA 150 is one of four models in Geka’s Alfa Series of CNC lines for flat bar processing operations, including steel flat bar punching. This CNC solution performs automatic punching and shearing operations on flat bars of sizes from 1/8” to 1/2” in thickness. Main Features of the ALFA 150 CNC Line
INPUT CONVEYOR UNIT
Servo motor-operated tracking wheel. Dedicated encoder unit. Positioning speeds up to 1,417″/min.
PUNCHING UNIT
Can accommodate two different punches 1-1/4″ maximum diameter. CNC-controlled left to right movements. Hydraulic hold-down.
SHEARING UNIT
Single-cut shearing. Anti-torque system which allows the machine to cut material without deformation. The solution is ideal for shearing steel and soft metals (i.e., copper).
